Curuan Gymnasium

Curuan Gymnasium is the outlier among Zamboanga's four listed venues — the other three are all 34 kilometres or more away, which makes this one a genuinely local option if you're out this way.

Two indoor courts, free to play, open Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 7pm to 10pm. Three-hour evening sessions, three nights a week, and nothing to pay.

That distance is the point. If you're out toward Curuan, the alternatives are Sto. Niño Progressive School, Kambingan Site and ABSAS Covered court, all a 34 to 36 kilometre trip. Having free courts on your side of that gap is worth more than a short schedule costs you.
